Three firefighters were injured Wednesday morning when their fire truck flipped over in Butte County.
The Type 3 engine from Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit (LNU) was responding to the Thompson Fire in Butte County when the accident happeend, according to KCRA.com.
The rig rolled, coming to rest on its roof in a ditch, The California Highway Patrol told the television station.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. and highway patrol officials said the three firefighters on board self-extricated.
The firefighters were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
